1. Why trust my children to the PetizemLinha babysitters / nannies?
PetizemLinha’s babysitters and nannies are responsible, have experience, are dynamic, love children and taking care of them is something they actually like to do. Letting your kids to our care, you are assured that they are in good hands and that you don’t need to worry.
2. In what does the accompaniment of my children consist during the babysitting / nanning period?
PetizemLinha considers babies and children development very important, which is why we prefer games, challenge creativity, working on plastic arts, among so many other games than watching TV or playing videogames. We want to make the moments they spent with our babysitters / nannies different and unique! More than just fulfilling their needs! For the older ones, we also help with the studies, if needed.
3. For what tasks can I count with the babysitter / nanny?
You can count on our babysitters / nannies for all the tasks that involve children’s routine. From baths, preparing meals, bringing and dropping them at school, helping with the homework, accompany them to extra-curricular activities, taking them for a walk, playing with them, contributing for their development, watch their sleep….
4. How can I request a service?
You can fill our website’s form or contact us to +351914071509, indicating general info (day, place, age of the children, type of service…) of the requested service.
5. Are travel expenses included on the paid amount?
Only on occasional babysitter / nanning service outside our acting are, is the travel amount is added.
On regular babysittings / nanning, if it’s needed that the babysitter / nanny uses her car to do the job, then it will be charged the travel expenses.
On vacation accompaniment jobs, all travel expenses needed are responsibility of the Families.
On the party entertainment service, travel expenses are added, if the event takes place outside of Lisbon (city).

1. How much in advance should I contact PetizemLinha to request a babysitter / nanning service?
Even if you ask for a service a couple hours before the time you want the service, we always try to find a solution for the occasional babysitting / nanning services, although we can’t assure full availability in those cases.
In case of a regular job, we ask you to do it at least 2 weeks before, so the selection of candidates can be done. Nevertheless, in case of availability, we don’t deny last-hour requests.
2. It’s the first time I hire PetizemLinha services. How will the babysitter / nanny be chosen? It’s equal for occasional or regular babysitters / nannies and for vacation accompaniment?
We always speak first with the Family and ask them to fill the form that will allow us to choose the most indicated babysitter / nanny for the family. For occasional babysitters / nannies, the choice is made based on a small talk we have with the Family and the information provided by the form they already filled.
For regular babysitters / nannies, the process takes a bit more time. After knowing the job details and Family data, we will make a pre-selection of the available candidates, so we can introduce them to the Families. An informative sheet about each of the candidates will be given to the Family. Families can meet them, without any commitment and only after an interview the decision is made.
If you requested our services and need a babysitter / nanny to accompany you during vacations, we will try that someone you already know goes with you. If that’s not possible, or if it’s the first time hiring PetizEmLinha, the selection process it’s the same as regular babysitting.
3. What’s the minimum period to require a babysitting service?
To request our babysitting services, the minimum period of a job must be 2h/day.
4. Is there any problem if I cancel the babysitting at the last hour?
If the cancellation is made on the same day as the job, there will be a minimum service tax to charge.
5. I liked the service, I’m thinking of hiring PetizEmLinha again. Can the babysitter / nanny be the same? Can I contact the babysitter directly?
Yes, our goal is, above all, to let our Small Clients satisfied. Therefore, if you liked the babysitter / nanny, we will always try that, on future job requests, it’s the same babysitter / nanny as the previous service. You can check the babysitter’s / nanny's availability directly with her, however the hiring should always be requested to PetizEmLinha.
6. I have a regular babysitting / nanning service, but the babysitter / nanny is ill. Does PetizEmLinha find a substitute?
Yes, in case your babysitter / nanny isn’t available, PetizEmLinha will always try finding an alternative, if you want that.
7. I saw on the website a specific babysitting / nanning service for newborns. In what does it consist?
It’s a service for the first months of life, usually during night time. Its goal is to allow parents to rest during the night, so the babysitter / nanny (with specific formation and experience in that area) will spend the night and take care of the baby when he wakes up. In case the baby isn’t being breastfed, it will also be the babysitter’s / nanny's responsibility to prepare the bottles, hygiene, watch his sleep and everything involved with baby care, during the night. If the baby is being breastfed, when necessary the babysitter / nanny will wake up the Mother so she can breastfeed and, after, will take care of everything, so the Mom can rest again.

1. How can I contact a babysitter/nanny during a service?
The telephone number of the babysitter / nanny will always be given to you. Whenever you feel the need, you can contact the babysitter / nanny, at any time. We also inform that the babysitter / nanny only calls the Parents in case of emergency, so it doesn’t bother them, or at Parents request.
2. I won’t be able to come home at the end of the day, nor at dinner time. Can I request your services for some help at the end of the day?
Of course! Taking care of the kids hygiene or their meals are included tasks in our services.
3. I don’t have a way to pick my kid at school. Can I count with PetizEmLinha services?
Yes, picking up kids at school, taking them to their extra-curricular activities or home it’s one of our babysitter services.
4. I’m going to a wedding and I don’t have someone to leave my children with. Do you provide services for weddings?
Yes, in PetizEmLinha we want to make families lives easier and help in any situation. With that being said, you can count on us for weddings, baptisms or any other event, beside the traditional babysitting / nanning at home.
5. I’m going to vacation abroad and I would like to take a babysitter / nanny from PetizEmLinha. Is it possible?
Of course! We do vacation accompaniment, inside and outside of the country.
6. My child has food allergies and it might be need to administrate an anti-allergenic, in case of reaction. In case of need, is the babysitter / nanny fitted to act on this matter?
Yes, we make sure that our collaborators have formation of first-aid and basic life support, to assure maximum safety, so Parents can also be more comfortable and to take care of any situation that can happen during a service.

Our services are paid through bank transference or MBWay.
To our services, it’s added IVA to the tax existing, 6% for the babysitting / nanny and 23% for the other services.
